Questions You Might Ask About Our Church

Our service is a mix of traditional and contemporary styles. It includes traditional hymns and contemporary choruses, scripture, prayers, a sermon and sharing of joys and concerns. The service lasts 60-70 minutes. Our 15 member choir presents special music each Sunday. A Children's Time is part of our service when children come to the front of the sanctuary and are actively engaged in a short lesson. Immediately following the service, our coffee time provides an opportunity for fellowship of all ages. Juice, cookies and coffee are shared with conversation and hospitality. Communion is served the 1st Sunday of each month during the service.

Adult Bible Study

10:30 a.m. Sunday
Adults of all ages blend into the Adult Class on Sunday mornings. The theme this year is how to be a better steward of the earth based on scriptures and religious writings. The discussions are lively as the members work on various topics. The class is also interested in acting on some of the issues. So far it has birthed the Yellow Springs Winter Farmer's Market, recycled shopping bags, plans for possible church vegetable garden areas, and many ideas for being more "green" at home, finding local foods, and enjoying a sustainable life-style.
