Our mission is to know Jesus Christ and to share his unconditional love.
Our Vision
The vision of the Yellow Springs United Methodist Church is to be a sacred sanctuary, a comfortable gathering space where people of all experiences and backgrounds may be welcomed through worship, through educational opportunities (Sunday School, Bible study, book studies, workshops, seminars and retreats), and through our service and outreach (food pantry, clothes closet, Winter Farmer's market, or simply through the sharing of our facilities).
Our Purpose
We are a "come as you are" congregation, and our goal is to be a loving, nurturing, educating, and empowering community of believers as we share our faith though worship, service to —and support of— one another and the larger Yellow Springs and world communities.

Our members work hard to help others in the community by:
- Hosting and providing volunteers for the Yellow Springs Food Pantry
- Managing a Clothes Closet that provides free children's clothing to those in need
- Conducting special worship services for the residents of Friends Care Community
- Offering Bible study classes for children & adults
- Opening our church to community groups
- Providing seasonal programs for children & youth
- Hosting a winter farmer's market
